I recently purchased a book that has been on my wish list for some time, all about one of my favorite textile designers, Celia Birtwell, who is known for her whimsical, colorful and romantic prints.  It’s a good one, friends, filled with her sketches and prints and beautiful photos of her bohemian life.  It goes into detail about her British upbringing and inspirations, as well as her history with designer Ossie Clarke and her life as a muse to David Hockney. There’s so much inspiration inside, and her creative energy is represented on each and every page.  Some photos below.
