After becoming addicted to clothes and music at the ripe age of 10, I pursued a career in fashion and have managed to somehow survive the ebbs and flows of the industry. I graduated from the University of Houston in 2001 and landed at PaperCity Magazine until I decided to move to Los Angeles in 2003. After a brief stint at California Apparel News, I served as West Coast Trend Correspondent for an online fashion trend forecasting service where I reported on retail and street trends in Los Angeles and parts of South America for nearly three years. Currently, I am working as a freelance fashion writer and consultant.
