Rachel Comey’s clothes and accessories speak to me in a language that I understand.  I am a big fan of her aesthetic, one that always manages to encompass simplicity, a fair amount of edge, and a slight hint of quirkiness mixed in with a little bit of sex appeal.  I woke up this morning to her Fall 2010 collection and I like what I see: a dash of ’40s meets ’70s glamour, chunky knits complete with fringe, leather socks (!), web-like prints, floral fantasies, a color palette that I want to incorporate more of into my wardrobe, and my favorite – a camel colored thigh-grazing coat with caramel leather sleeves.  I’m officially inspired.
