I’m loving what’s happening at Etro for Fall ’11.  The fringe on the knits and outerwear, the earthy color palette mixed with brights and what look like psychedelic Navajo prints and blurred geometrics, the long and lean silhouettes, the silk pajama pants, the kilt-like skirt that’s draped over pants, the shimmery textures, and those yummy coats (metallic leather sleeves!) pretty much sum up what I’m feeling right now.  Bohemian simplicity with a touch of luxe and craftsmanship.  I feel like this started a couple of seasons ago and remains in the air, and is also what some very influential designers have brewing.  I’m interested to see how it all unravels.
