My good friend Gena and her husband Ted recently launched Symmetry Goods; a line of scarves, pockets squares, and small leather goods that are quite possibly the most functional accessories ever. Each piece is made by hand in Los Angeles and the scarves, which are made from Japanese fabrics, feature custom-cast brass hardware with a leather strap that so that they can be worn in various ways, as neckwear or even a tote bag. The best part is that each piece is unisex, like the Anderson pouch that can be worn as a wrist bag or on your belt. It’s completely genius and it’s one of my favorites. You can purchase Symmetry Goods on their website or browse the look book to see the Spring/Summer 2011 collection. Check back for Fall 2011 – Gena gave me a peek and there’s some good stuff in there!
