We love a good muse, and for this Journal Entry we couldn’t get a few of those legendary Art Deco dames off our minds. Greta Garbo, Marchesa Luisa Casati, and Louise Brooks are just a few who inspired us to create this darkly romantic story filled with glamour and lust. Anaïs Nin’s Delta of Venus seemed appropriate to include, as the short stories of love and lust were written in the early 40’s, not to mention it has one of the best book covers ever. And of course, it wouldn’t be Art Deco without a little sparkle and shimmer, seen in a pink 1930’s celluloid bracelet; a metallic statement-making necklace; and a vintage horse head brooch. We think our Deco dames would approve. To check out our Art Deco Decadence process, visit Simone’s blog here, and view the completed Journal Entry below.
