I recently came across the work of Dienke Dekker and was inspired by her way of reinterpreting basket weaving, an ancient craft that I highly admire.  Dienke is a student at the Design Academy Eindhoven in Holland and for this particular project she silkscreened prints onto silk and various other textiles with paint stamps that she customized, creating some seriously cool baskets and works of art.  Some of them remind me of Africa and some remind me of the Bauhaus movement, and I sure would love to own one.
