A couple of years ago a friend sent me a link to a super chic line of caftans made by a designer in NYC. Aside from being totally wearable in shape and modern yet authentic in design, I liked that there were just a few styles to choose from and that the styling wasn’t overwhelming. I didn’t buy one at the time, but today I was checking out Remodelista and saw a profile on the designer behind Two, Monica Patel-Cohn. The daughter of an Indian father and an Italian mother, Monica was inspired by Indian saris and launched her line with them in mind. The fabric for each caftan is woven in India and the images below are from her upcoming collection. I definitely want to get my hands on one of these.
